In the lanes where I was raised, everything stayed the same. Bricks were laid a road was paved, created it remained. Houses sprung up from the fields, the walls were our shields. And we all had our weakness, the kind that could tear a man down.
And maybe, we'll find a place that is much warmer now; and when we're there, you will finally feel alright.
So take me at my word, I swear I'll find a way. I'll stop before I go, and celebrate the day. Stranded up on high, until there's nothing more to say. So take me at my word, I swear i'll find a way
Everyday we burned a wick, with red wax dripping thick. Bronze reflecting off the borders, while light filled up the corners. Gather close to the cassette, shadowed by our silhouettes. And don't stop until the sunlight pierces through the tops of the trees.
And maybe, we'll find a place that is much warmer now; and when we're there, you will finally feel alright.
So take me at my word, I swear I'll find a way. I'll stop before I go, and celebrate the day. Stranded up on high, until there's nothing more to say. So take me at my word, I swear i'll find a way
It's not supposed to be, and how could you not see, it's one in the same.
It's not supposed to be, and how could you not see, it'l happen to you.

Become someone else for a day or maybe even a lifetime
And wash away all the evidence that you were once mine
And don't be afraid I'll be here in the meantime
Forget yourself and life free without any regret
Speak pure and true simple words you're not soon to forget
And don't hesitate it's for the best
In due Time
And in some years you'll look back on this with shining eyes
And feel the ache as you remember how hard you tried
And don't be ashamed we knew it was the right time
